Papanasam Temple also called “Arulmigu Papanasaswamy Temple” is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This is one of the famous temples of Lord Shiva in Tamil Nadu. The temple is visited by thousands of devotees daily and is located in the Tirunelveli District. Here, devotees called Papanasam to Lord Shiva and Parvathi as Ulagammai. Goddess Parvathi and Lord Shiva are worshipped in this temple daily from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
