Kedarnath Tempe also known as the Kedarnath Dham is one of the famous pilgrimages and also one of the shrines among Char Dham. It is the most sacred place for the Hindu devotee and people visit this temple for Moksha. The temple is located in the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini River, Uttarakhand state, India. Kedarnath Temple is also one of the Jyotirlinga among 12 Jyotirlingas in India. The temple is open to the general public only between April (Akshaya Tritiya) and November (Kartik Purnima, the autumn full moon).
However, the Kedarnath temple is visited by millions of people in just a few months. The temple is visited by Shiva devotees. Kedarnath Dham is seen as a homogeneous form of Shiva, the ‘Lord of Kedarkhand’, the historical name of the region. Devotees can reach the temple only through the 22-kilometer (14-mi) uphill trek. It’s not connected to the road directly.

Kedarnath Temple is providing darshan from April to November. The Kapat of Kedarnath Dham will open on 25 April 2024 at 6:20 AM (Morning) and close on 15 Nov 2024 (tentative).
