Gokarna Mahabaleshwar temple is a very famous shrine of Lord Mahabaleshwar and is also known as Gokarna temple. This is a Hindu pilgrimage site visited by thousands of devotees. Gokarna temple is located in Uttara Kannada District. This is as important as Varanasi Shiva Temple Kashi in North India. It is also called Dakshin Kasi.
