Arunachalam Temple is significant from both sides historical and religious. This is a Hindu religious place located in Thiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. The temple is dedicated to one of the prominent gods Lord Shiva. This is called Pancha Bhoota Sthalam which is a collection of Shiva temples representing five elements of nature. Arunachalam temple is also known as “Arulmigu Arunachaleswarar Temple”. The temple opens at 5 AM and closes at 9:30 PM. You can visit during this time to perform various Puja/ Aarti and Darshan of Lord Mahadev.

Let us tell you that Arunachalam Temple’s significant structure was constructed in the 9th century as per the inscriptions. Still, the structure of the temple attracts devotees and other people. Devotees visit this temple in huge numbers and worship lord Shiva. The Temple complex is big covers 10 hectares of land and is counted as one of the largest temples in India. There are four gateway to enter and Gopurams is the tallest gateway. The temple has 11 stories and 66 meters Height.
There are six daily rituals performed in this temple throughout the day. Puja rituals start at 5:30 AM to 10 PM. Some festivals are celebrated in this temple such as Karthikai Deepam which is celebrated between November and December.
