Cheranalloor Bhagavathy Temple is one of the Hindu temples located on the banks of the Periyar river at Kalady of Ernakulam District in Kerala state. It is also one of the oldest Hindu temples of Karthyayani Devi. She is the sixth among the Navadurgas, the nine forms of the Hindu goddess Durga who are worshipped during the festival of Navaratri. Moreover, the temple represents the old history and architecture of ancient Hindu culture. Also, Cheranalloor temple is constructed in Kerala-Dravidian style of architecture.
