There are many Shiva temples in India and Umananda Temple is one of them. This temple is located in the middle of the Brahmaputra river. The island is called Umananda Dweep and is situated before Kachari Ghat In Guwahati. The name of the temple means Uma (Goddess Parvati), and the second word Anand means happiness.
