The late president of India “Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam” gave it his blessing. Using traditional techniques like Vastu and Pancharatra shastra, the construction of the Swaminarayan Akshardham took about five years. There are statues of Hindu Gods and Goddesses such as Lord Krishna and Radha, Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, Goddess Lakshmi, God Narayan, Lord Shiva, and Parvati Devi.
