There are so many famous Hindu temples located in the state of Andhra Pradesh. But one of the prominent temples of this state is Kotappakonda Temple. This is a well-known temple also called with the name of the Trikoteswara Swamy Temple Kotappakonda or Sri Trikoteswara Swamy Temple and is located in the Guntur District, AP state. So this is an ancient Hindu temple purely dedicated to the Lord Shiva and people worshipped them in the form of Sri Trikoteswara Swamy.
The deity Trikuteswara is identified with the hilltop Sivalinga temple, according to the epigraphs at Kotappakonda. The goddess of the temple is 1,587 feet high. On the slope in front of the temple, there are eight more ponds. The most significant and widely observed event is Mahashivaratri, which takes place in February and March. Kotappakonda temple’s hours may vary on holidays like Shivaratri and Navaratri. Kartika Masam is also observed with a sizable gathering.
