Eklingji temple is a very popular Hindu Mandir located in the Udaipur District of Rajasthan, India. Every devotee wants to visit this ancient and famous temple. It was built by Bappa Rawal (Ruler) in the 8th century as per the Ekalinga Mahatmya (a 15th-century text). Shri Eklingji is a true example that tells the existence of Shri Eklingaji since Sat Yuga.
Eklingji Temple Darshan Timings
Let us tell you that “Eklingji Temple” has true stories of their devotees whose problems had been solved in the age of Indra and Treta age. The Temple had been worshipped by the queen of the goddess Nandini. Kamdhenu worshipped Eklingji in the Treta Yuga when Kamdhenu was afraid of Vishwamitra and his armies. He started worshipping Eklingji and the armies of Vishwamitra were defeated to the delight of Guru Vashistha. This place holds spiritual importance because of the presence of Eklingji temple. Kind Maharana of Udaipur ruled by him and representative of Shri Eklingji.
There are several festivals and special occasions are conducted here. The prime festival is Shivaratri where you can see a huge crowd. Every week, the temple is crowded on Mondays and visits devotees of Lord Shiva. Manooraths are performed in the Vaishakh & Shravan special. Shri Arvind Singh Mewar is a chief trust of the temple and also manages the temple. Many officers and workers visit the temple and help in the management sections.
